Varun Dhawan’s action film Baby John is all set for a big release on December 25 during Christmas. Directed by Kalees and produced by Atlee, the film has already sparked a lot of excitement, with expectations of a strong box office opening.
Baby John Targets 75K Advance Bookings, Set for Rs 15 Crore Opening Day
With only five days left until the release, advance bookings for Baby John are looking good. The film is expected to sell over 75,000 tickets in top cinema chains like PVR Inox and aims for a 15 crore opening day. There is even a chance it could reach 80,000 tickets.
If it hits this target, the movie is expected to have a strong start, although any shortfall could affect its opening.
Film Expected To Release On 3000 Screens In India
Baby John will be released on 3,000 screens across India, putting it in direct competition with Pushpa 2, which is still performing well at the box office. The makers of Baby John are optimistic, especially with its star power and the Christmas timing.
However, there are some issues with screen-sharing, which has slowed down advance bookings. These issues will need to be resolved over the weekend.
For those unaware, this is Varun Dhawan’s first theatrical release in two years since Bhediya in 2022.

Baby John marks his return to the big screen, where he plays the role of DCP Satya Verma, also known as Baby John. Fans are already excited to see him in this action-packed role.
Keerthy Suresh, in her Hindi film debut, plays Varun’s wife, Meera Reddy Verma. Jackie Shroff plays the villain, Babbar Sher, and Sheeba Chadha plays Varun’s on-screen mother.
Varun recently clarified that Baby John is not a remake of Theri, the Tamil film starring Thalapathy Vijay. He confirmed that it’s an adaptation with major changes and urged viewers not to expect a scene-for-scene remake.
