Sarkaru Vaari Paata hit the theatres on May 12 after getting postponed multiple times due to the novel coronavirus pandemic. This is Mahesh Babu’s first release in two years.
During the weekdays, Mahesh Babu’s Sarkaru Vaari Paata is slow at the Telugu box office. The film is having an average run in theaters after a strong start at the box office. The commercial entertainer, directed by Parasuram Petla, is about defective financial systems.
The film collected 8 cr nett more in rest of places except Telugu giving 100 cr in 5 days which is an average fair. It will continue to drop and lifetime collection will be lower than 125 cr.
It will be loss making proposition for distributors and yes it’s same Mahesh Babu who said, “Bollywood can’t afford him.”
