The latest James Bond film, ‘No Time to Die,’ was released on September 30, 2021, after several delays.
‘No Time to Die’ is Daniel Craig’s fifth and last excursion as James Bond. Craig finally puts up his boots as ‘Bond, James Bond’ after more than a decade as the British secret agent. In the 2006 film ‘Casino Royale,’ Daniel Craig played Ian Fleming’s character for the first time.
No Time To Die is doing well in India, with nett collection of 14 crore in the first six days. Due to the national holiday on Saturday, the film received a significant boost. The film’s extended eight-day first week will bring in little around 15.80 crore nett and it should do well over the second weekend.
No Time To Die will easily surpass the 20 crore nett milestone, but it is unclear whether it will surpass the 25 crore nett level. Since cinemas reopened in August, Shang Chi is the first Hollywood release to surpass the 25 crore nett threshold. No Time To Die is tracking roughly 10% lower than Shang Chi, which is a good thing because there is a significant difference in Bond’s popularity in India compared to Marvel’s with the Marvel being far ahead.
No Time To Die has done better in the North than Shang Chi, grossing over 5 crore nett in just six days in Delhi/UP and East Punjab.
Shang Chi’s collections were worth 4.25 crores nett. This is partly due to the metropolis of Delhi and Punjab’s improved conditions. The other circuits aren’t performing as well as Shang Chi. The following are the No Time To Die collections to date.
Day 1, Thursday: 2.35 cr nett
Day 2, Friday: 2.15 cr nett
Day 3, Saturday: 4 cr nett
Day 4, Sunday: 3.25 cr nett
Day 5, Monday: 1.10 cr nett
Day 6, Tuesday: 1 cr nett
Day 7, Wednesday: 0.90 cr nett
