Sunny Deol‘s much awaited war sequel Border 2 is finally arriving in theatres today on January 23, 2026. The advance booking finished strongly and the film is now heading towards a massive weekend with huge growth. The Varun Dhawan co-starrer has sold around 1,45,000 tickets at the two national chains before release.
The war drama also stars Diljit Dosanjh and Ahan Shetty in pivotal roles. Directed by Anurag Singh and produced by T-Series and JP Films, the film is one of the most anticipated releases of 2026.

Border 2 released in middle of usual social media negativity but massive anticipation among audience. Film collected 32.10 crore net on day one which was very good but still less than the expectations. Film grew by 25% on day two with 49.59 crore net number. But today on day three film has gone into beast mode as it is certain to cross 50 crore net and might go to 57.20 crore net number.
Film has 3 day total of 129.89 crore net and with national holiday tomorrow, it is set for 190 crore net number which is massive. Now trend on weekdays will decide its week one and lifetime number.
