Today saw the release of Rajshri’s film Uunchai and Hollywood biggie Black Panther, Wakanda Forever. Uunchai has this PR and news going all over that full has limited release like earlier Rajshri’s earlier releases in 1990’s. And that will ensure some sort of success as paid critics went overboard.
Film managed to attain good advances but still there was nothing extraordinary. Film opened decent but never grew beyond a certain level and it is biggest example of great marketing and content which doesn’t appeal to youth and TG.
As per early trends, film collected 1.60-1.75 cr nett on day one which is not bad if artificial hype was not this great. Film needs big jumps over weekend and even that might not suffice.
Film will do good if it crosses 7-8 cr nett weekend.
