Exclusive box office report: Kamal Haasan, Vijay Sethupati, Fahadh Faasil starrer Vikram is a flop in the Hindi market, distributor is set to lose 60% of investment

The film is a massive hit in the south and a decent hit overseas.

Kamal Haasan starrer much-hyped film Vikram found no takers in Hindi belts. The film was bought for 2.75 cr by Jayantilal Gada and Marudhar Entertainment but the film will struggle to do even 1 cr share.

The film collected 24 lac nett on Friday followed by 35 lac nett on Saturday with slim growth. It managed slim growth on Sunday with 56 lacs nett figure and a weekend total of 1.15 cr nett.

The film will finish with 2 cr nett in the Hindi market which means distributors will lose 1.75 cr plus on the film as they bought it for 2.75 cr and film will have share less than 1 cr.

Vikram is an action entertainer written and directed by Lokesh Kangaraj and produced by Raaj Kamal Films International. Rathna Kumar and Lokesh Kanagaraj wrote the dialogues. The film stars Kamal Haasan, Vijay Sethupathi, and Fahadh Faasil in prominent roles, with Kalidas Jayaram, Narain, and Arjun Das providing support. The film’s music was composed by Anirudh Ravichander.
