Star Kiccha Sudeep’s Kannada language action adventure film Vikrant Rona, which is being touted as yet another pan-India spectacle, has opened to muted but relatively solid numbers in the Hindi belt.
Outperforming earlier titles such as Vikram, Valimai, Beast and 777 Charlie — none of which could cross the Rs 50 lakh barrier on day one — Vikrant Rona has made around Rs 95 lacs in the Hindi belt. The film’s Hindi version was presented by Salman Khan.
The film got mixed reviews and that did hurt the film as the film dropped all over on the 2nd Day. Hindi version dropped from 95 lacs nett to 75 lacs nett which is now closer to what Kamal Haasan starrer Vikram earned in the Hindi market on day two but that film grew from day one.
This drop means the film will have a 2.75 cr nett weekend in the Hindi market which is poor. Similarly, the film dropped in the local Kannada market ad it collected 13.75 cr gross against 23 cr plus on day one.
The drop was across the table from domestic to overseas and that’s why it seems like fill will struggle from Monday onwards.
Following are the collection of the film:

Rest of India
Total 35.50 cr gross worldwide
