Hollywood biggies proved successful at box office in last few years and in post lockdown scenario, they are wrecking havoc at box office. Marvel films open big due to dedicated fan base but lately poor content and oversupply probing costly for the brand.
First ‘Thor Love And Thunder’ opened big bit tanked later and then almost similar happened with ‘Black Panther Wakanda Forever’. Now poor reviews have hampered latest release ‘Antman And Wasp: Quantumania’ on day two itself.
Film collected close to 8.50 cr nett on day one with only slim growth on day two. Film collected 9 cr nett on day two which is only 10% growth. Bad reviews affected the film as it dropped on Sunday and collected 8.25 cr nett on Sunday.
Film had poor weekend of 25.75 cr nett in India which was below par. And as expected, film dropped big on Monday and collected only 2.50 cr nett. Film kept dropping with collection of 2 cr nett, 1.75 cr nett, 1.50 cr nett on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday.
Film has week one total of 33.50 cr nett and now film will find hard with finish below 40-42 cr nett. Flop!

Oversupply And Predictable Content Of Marvel:
Lately too much content on ott by Marvel caused over supply of its universe. Then even it’s theatrical films lately been disappointing. Be it ‘Thor: Love And Thunder’ or now ‘Antman And Wasp Quantumania’ both bombed at box office.
Now Marvel has to pull its socks and deliver quality content that too little less often.
