Today multiple Hindi films, regional films, dubbed Pan India film, Hollywood film and Japanese Anime released at box office. Almost all films tanked without much trace though there were few consolation prizes.
Directed by Ashima Chibber and Produced by Zee Studios & Emmay Entertainment. Rani Mukerji starrer ‘Mrs Chatterjee Vs Norway’ never had much chance at box office as this genre is struggling big time post pandemic. To be fair, Rani promoted the film all over the town. With awareness combined with decent reviews, film managed some sort of numbers on day one with decent growth from evening onwards.
Film had decent turnout in Kolkata due to subject and Rani. Also film was good in high end properties in Mumbai and Pune. As per early trends, film should collect 1.27 cr nett on day which is three times more than other similar sort of release ‘Zwigato’.

Domestic: 1.27 cr nett
Overseas: 1.70 cr
Film should jump over weekend and anything around 5 cr nett will be some sort of result. Hollywood release ‘Shazam! Fury Of The Gods’ and Anime release ‘Demon Slayer’ have taken lot of shows and audience which did hurt the film.
