Bellbottom, an action film starring Akshay Kumar, was released a few weeks ago. Because it was the first film to be released in theatres following the second wave of Covid-19, all eyes were on the box office. After a rocky start, Bellbottom picked more pace at the box office as time went on.

Bellbottom has now made a total of Rs. 1.75 cr on its second Sunday, which is more than double its second Friday collections of 0.75 cr. Surprisingly, despite stiff competition from the Amitabh Bachchan-Emraan Hashmi starrer Chehre on the screens, the film has managed to hold its own, even seeing an uptick in box office collections over its second weekend.

With the film’s digital distribution set for later next month, Bellbottom still has a window of opportunity in theatres and is projected to be the audience’s top pick.
