Kangana Ranaut’s Bharat Bhhagya Viddhaata Heads For Flop Run With Rs 2.20 Crore In Two Days

Kangana Ranaut’s Bharat Bhhagya Viddhaata has managed a day two jump at the Indian box office, but the bigger picture remains grim. The film collected Rs 1.40 crore nett on its second day after opening at Rs 0.80 crore nett, taking its two day total to Rs 2.20 crore nett. While the percentage growth looks healthy on paper, the overall numbers still leave the film staring at a weak theatrical start.

That early trend is especially significant for a title led by a star like Ranaut, whose recent releases have also struggled to find strong box office momentum. With the weekend now crucial, the film needs sustained support to avoid slipping further in an already crowded marketplace.

Day Two Growth Does Little To Change The Box Office Story

Bharat Bhhagya Viddhaata recorded nearly 75 to 80 per cent growth on day two, rising from Rs 0.80 crore nett on day one to Rs 1.40 crore nett on day two. Its running total now stands at Rs 2.20 crore nett in India.

The current trend suggests an opening weekend in the Rs 4 crore to Rs 4.50 crore nett range. Even with that trajectory, the film remains below the pace of Kangana Ranaut’s previous release, Emergency, which had opened better. The film is also competing with Main Vaapas Aaunga, Haunted 3D: Echoes Of The Past, Backrooms, Disclosure Day, and other holdover releases, which has made its theatrical climb tougher.

About Bharat Bhhagya Viddhaata

Bharat Bhhagya Viddhaata is a Hindi medical drama directed by Manoj Tapadia. The film stars Kangana Ranaut in the lead and is set against the backdrop of the 26/11 Mumbai terror attacks. Its story unfolds inside Cama Hospital, where staff members try to save patients and civilians caught in a life threatening crisis.

The film released in theatres on June 12, 2026. With a real event at its core, the narrative focuses on courage under pressure and the human cost of terror, placing hospital workers at the center of the story rather than conventional action heroes.

Kangana Ranaut’s Recent And Upcoming Work

Kangana Ranaut’s recent filmography has reflected a stretch of ambitious but commercially difficult releases. Before Bharat Bhhagya Viddhaata, she starred in Emergency in 2025, where she played Indira Gandhi. That film ended its Indian run at Rs 16.52 crore and was marked as a disaster in trade listings. In 2023, she led Tejas, which finished with Rs 4.14 crore and also underperformed. Before that came Dhaakad in 2022, another theatrical release that had a weak box office outcome.

As of June 2026, Bharat Bhhagya Viddhaata is her latest confirmed release. Among her announced future projects, Manikarnika Returns: The Legend Of Didda remains one of the major titles associated with her slate, though a confirmed release date is not in place yet.
