Lakshya’s KILL Shatters Records Overseas With $1.8 Million In Just 5 Markets, Surpasses Lifetime Collection Of Most Hindi Films Of 2024

Kill has surpassed $1.8 million in just five key overseas markets, outperforming most Hindi films released this year in lifetime earnings.

Lakshya’s Kill continues to defy the odds at the box office, performing admirably despite stiff competition from big-budget releases. The film’s ability to hold its ground in such a crowded market is a testament to its strong content and targeted audience appeal.

Kill Earns $1.8 M In Just 5 Markets, Beats Lifetime Collection Of Most Hindi Releases This Year

In just five key overseas markets, Kill has amassed $1.8 million to date. This figure surpasses the lifetime earnings of most Hindi films released this year.

Given that Kill features a new lead and falls within a genre film category, these earnings are particularly impressive. Furthermore, several key markets are yet to open, suggesting even more potential for growth.

Lakshya’s Action Film Stays Steady At India Box Office

Domestically, Kill has shown steady progress. It collected Rs 80 lakhs on Friday, Rs 1.43 crores on Saturday, and an estimated Rs 1.72 crores on Sunday, bringing its total to Rs 15.31 crores after ten days.

The film, praised for its action sequences and taut narrative, has found a strong following among the youth, especially in major urban centres. While these numbers might seem modest compared to big-ticket releases like Kalki 2898 AD, Sarfira, and Indian 2, they represent a commendable performance for a mid-budget film.

Kill has also seen strong collections overseas, with Rs 16.3 crores from the international market. This indicates that the content resonated well with overseas audiences. These numbers have significantly boosted the film’s worldwide total. Combining the India gross of Rs 18.06 crores, Kill‘s worldwide collections now stand at Rs 34.36 crores.

The second weekend collections, while not as explosive as the opening week, indicate a steady and sustainable run for Kill. The film’s ability to maintain a steady pace amid competition suggests strong word-of-mouth, crucial for long-term success.

As the film enters the weekdays, its performance against ongoing releases and new entrants will be closely watched. If Kill manages to sustain its momentum, it could emerge as a surprise package at the box office
