Shah Rukh Khan starrer Pathaan crossed record 525 cr nett in India and 1050 crore gross worldwide. Film broke every record possible worldwide and now it has released in Bangladesh.
Interestingly, the Shah Rukh, Deepika Padukone, John Abraham starrer film, which released on January 25 this year in India and elsewhere, has been out on Amazon Prime Video since March end. Many in Bangladesh have already seen it on OTT and yet, came out in hordes to watch the first Bollywood movie to release in their country ever since 1971.
On its day of release, that is Friday May 12, Pathaan has grossed 25 lacs Bangladeshi takas. It is equivalent to INR 19.13 lacs. Film collected 30 lacs Bangladeshi takas which is equivalent to 22.9 lacs INR. Film has total of 42 lacs in two days at box office and should cross 50 lacs today in Bangladesh as film will drop today on working day in Bangladesh.

Fans went berserk in cinemas despite film released in Bangladesh after 105 days of release. Fans shared videos on social media of same.
Pathaan has opened to HOUSEFULL boards all over Bangladesh and film is sold out for entire weekend in advance. Though there are very few cinemas in Bangladesh but still the craze for the film is insane. Film should collect 50 lacs nett plus on day one and if it can cross 4-5 cr nett there in its run, then it will cross 400 crore overseas collections. It is at 397 cr as of now in terms of overseas number.
