Sikandar Advance Booking Kicks Off On A Decent Note
Sikandar is among the biggest releases of 2025. As of 10 PM (March 28), the action drama has sold around 75,000 tickets in the top three national chains PVR Inox and Cinepolis for the opening day alone. Out of these, around 73% of tickets were booked at PVR Inox alone. It needs big jump in next 30 hours for grand festival opening for star studded film.
The pace is a little slower than previous biggies of Salman Khan. For the unversed, the movie closed its Day 1 of advance booking by selling around 26,000 tickets in the top national chains followed by on second day advance at around 56,000.
The AR Murugadoss directorial is expected to do well at the box office. Movie is likely to open with Rs 32 crore net in India. However, the figure is subjected to go higher as we move closer to the release.

Salman Khan Starrer Sikandar Censored
Salman Khan’s action-packed film Sikandar has received a UA 13+ certification from the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC). While the trailer passed without cuts, the film itself underwent minor changes before getting approval.
The CBFC asked the makers to mute the word ‘Home’ from ‘Home Minister’ in multiple scenes. A political party hoarding was also blurred. However, no action or fight sequences were altered. After these small modifications, the censor certificate was issued on March 21.
There’s been some confusion about the film’s length. The censor certificate lists the runtime as 2 hours 30 minutes and 8 seconds. However, exhibition sources claim the final theatrical cut is actually 2 hours 15 minutes and 46 seconds.
The official trailer dropped on March 23 and gave fans a taste of the adrenaline rush in store. Salman Khan is seen pulling off high-octane stunts and delivering power-packed dialogues. Rashmika Mandanna’s rendition of “Lag Jaa Gale” in the second half of the trailer also grabbed attention
