Fans are buzzing with excitement for Citadel: Honey Bunny, the new spy series featuring Varun Dhawan and Samantha Ruth Prabhu.
A new promo has just been released, showcasing the popular characters Srikant Tiwari and JK Talpade from The Family Man. This series links to the larger Citadel universe, giving a thrilling peek into the world of spies.
Citadel: Honey Bunny NEW Promo Shows The Family Man Duo Srikant & JK
In the latest promo from Amazon Prime, Srikant, played by Manoj Bajpayee, is hiding out in a remote spot. His friend JK, played by Sharib Hashmi, comes looking for him.
JK jokes, “Dude, I’ve been waiting for you since ages. They don’t even have vada-pav here.” Srikant replies, “At least you are not stuffing your face with this. And finally, you can get rid of all this belly fat, read this.”
Srikant hands JK a mysterious file, which makes JK crack a joke about it. He asks, “And what museum is this from?” Srikant retorts, “The museum of Chellum Sir.”
JK continues the teasing, saying, “Bro, this just looks like a team from the 1990s.” Srikant smirks and adds, “Like folks from the era of pager, dead.” Their chemistry is fun and makes the promo enjoyable.
The promo also introduces Honey and Bunny, the characters played by Varun and Samantha. JK questions their names, asking, “And what sort of names are Honey-Bunny? Does it even sound like a team name? We have cooler names like JK-Tiwari or Tiwari-JK.”
When Srikant hands him another file, JK is shocked to discover the identity of the duo. “What the hell, it was these two who…? This too is Honey Bunny,” he exclaims, realising they might be dangerous spies.
JK humorously inquires if they are more dangerous than the TASC team (Threat Analysis and Surveillance Cell). Srikant confidently says, “Of course not. We are part of a National Force. Our reach is endless.” Just then, a pager beeps, displaying a message: “Honey Bunny are here.”
The show’s makers cleverly captioned the promo, “OGs, don’t blink, the spies are on cue. #CitadelHoneyBunnyOnPrime, New Series, Nov 7.”

Created by Raj & DK, known for their captivating storytelling, Citadel: Honey Bunny is set in Mumbai in the 90s. It explores the story of Nadia’s parents—Honey and Bunny—who were also spies for Citadel in India.
