Weekend watchlist: Check out these new OTT releases to binge this weekend!

It’s a joyful week, and a few movies are coming out on streaming platforms to add to the festivities. Here’s a quick rundown of films and series available on OTT platforms this weekend, ranging from Taapsee Pannu’s sports drama Rashmi Rocket to the highly awaited final season of Little Things.

Rashmi Rocket:

Akarsh Khurana directed the sports drama, which stars Taapsee Pannu in the major role. The plot follows ‘rocket,’ who finally gets the chance to pursue her ambition of competing professionally, only to discover that the road to the finish line is paved with numerous obstacles. Supriya Pathak, Abhishek Banerjee, Priyanshu Painyuli, and Supriya Pilgaonkar also star in Rashmi Rocket.

Little Things S4:

Dhruv (Dhruv Sehgal) and Kavya (Mithila Palkar) are an ordinary couple navigating the tough world of relationships, occupations, and goals. The season will follow the couple as they make the “difficult transition” from adolescent love to a more mature relationship. Abhinandan Sridhar, Nupur Pai, Garima Pura Patiyaalvi, and Gaurav Patki wrote the show, which was produced by Dice Media.

Sanak:

Kanishk Varma directed the action flick starring Vidyut Jammwal. After action film series like Force and Commando, Shah and Jammwal have collaborated on Sanak for the fifth time. Chandan Roy Sanyal, Neha Dhupia, and Rukmini Maitra also star in the upcoming film.

Sardar Udham Singh:

Udham Singh, the heroic independence fighter, is the subject of the biographical film Sardar Udham. Vicky Kaushal plays the lead in this flick. Sardar Udham is a “heart breaking saga of retribution,” according to the streamer, and it depicts the journey of a courageous warrior who ensured the world never forgets the lives of his loving compatriots who were ruthlessly slaughtered in the Jallianwala Bagh Massacre of 1919. Sardar Udham also stars October actor Banita Sandhu and Amol Parashar.

Free Guy:

Ryan Reynolds stars in Free Guy, a science fiction action comedy. Reynolds plays Guy, a bank teller who realises he is a non-player character in an open-world video game and becomes the story’s hero, attempting to save his companions from the game’s creator’s erasure.
