Hansal Mehta demands to legalize marijuana in India

Indian film director Hansal Mehta recently talks about marijuana legalization in India. The director demands marijuana consumption in India.

Hansal Mehta demanded this, pointing to the ongoing drug case involving superstar Shah Rukh Khan’s son Aryan Khan who is currently in jail. Aryan’s final bail plea will be heard on October 20 after he was arrested in a cruise ship drug raid along with other accused.

He took to his Twitter handle and wrote, “Marijuana/cannabis consumption is legal in many countries. It has been decriminalised in many. In our country its consumption is used more for harassment than for narcotics control.”
“A movement like the one to abolish sec 377 is necessary to end this continuing travesty,” he added in the tweet.

Commenting on this tweet of Hansal Mehta, Pooja Bhatt replied “And then we can be sure they will find yet another travesty.” A lot of industry people came in the support of Shah Rukh and his son Aryan including Hrithik Roshan, Karan Patel, Swara Bhaskar, and many more.
