At first, it appears to be an ordinary headshot character poster. However, while taking a closer look, John Wick’s tie seems to in fact be an hourglass packed with bullets. Besides the visual flourish, the logo also showcases an innovative design touch.
The hourglass tie means a sagacious optical illusion, and injects some nice drama and thrill into the proceedings (the obvious reading being that time’s running out for Mr Wick), including as sartorially-minded among one knows, the hourglass knot is one (rather ostentatious) way of tying a tie – becoming more ingenuity there.
