Aamir Khan In Talks With Lokesh Kanagaraj For A Superhero Film, Also Discussing Ghajini 2 With Allu Aravind – Interesting Details Inside

Aamir Khan is exploring new projects in Bollywood, including a superhero film with director Lokesh Kanagaraj and a potential sequel to Ghajini.

Aamir Khan is making some exciting moves in Bollywood, with several big projects in the works that are sure to thrill his fans. Known for his successful career filled with blockbuster hits, Aamir is now exploring new ideas. 

According to a Pinkvilla report, he is in talks with director Lokesh Kanagaraj for a superhero film. The two have been meeting for months, brainstorming different ideas for their collaboration.

Aamir Khan Discussing A Superhero Film With Lokesh Kanagaraj

Both seem particularly excited about this superhero project. Lokesh is now working with his team of writers to develop a script, and if all goes well, the film could start production by 2026.

But this superhero film isn’t the only project Aamir is considering. He is also working on Sitaare Zameen Par, which is set to release in 2025.

Aamir is in discussions with directors Rajkumar Santoshi, Zoya Akhtar, and Avinash Arun for future projects. However, fans are especially eager to see him take on this new superhero role, which would be a fresh challenge for the actor.

Lokesh Kanagaraj, known for his action-packed films, is currently shooting Coolie and has Kaithi 2 lined up for 2025.

If everything falls into place with Aamir’s superhero film, it could easily become one of the most anticipated releases of 2026. The superhero genre is new for Aamir, but Lokesh’s unique storytelling could make it a thrilling addition to Aamir’s career.

Another exciting update is that Aamir is set to make a cameo in Coolie, which stars Rajinikanth and is directed by Lokesh. This cameo came about during their discussions for the superhero film, and fans can expect an exciting scene with both Aamir and Rajinikanth sharing the screen.

Ghajini 2 Might Happen!

The report also suggests a sequel to Aamir’s 2008 hit Ghajini. Sources say that Aamir is in talks with producers Allu Aravind and Madhu Mantena to create Ghajini 2.

If the script meets Aamir’s expectations, he could return to the franchise that set new records in Indian cinema, as Ghajini was the first film to cross the Rs 100 crore mark. Aamir is reportedly keen on turning Ghajini into a franchise, and the team is working on ideas for the sequel.
