Aamir Khan swiftly dismissed a viral video allegedly cautioning against political "jumlas," clarifying his non-partisan stance as the Lok Sabha elections approach.

As the Lok Sabha elections draw near, a video allegedly featuring actor Aamir Khan cautioning against political “jumlas” is making rounds on social media platforms. However, Khan swiftly dismissed the clip, labelling it as fake and clarifying his non-partisan stance.

The video, gaining traction online, supposedly shows Khan warning against deceptive political tactics. Yet, Khan refuted these claims, asserting his neutrality and disavowing any endorsement of political parties.

Aamir Khan Issues Official Statement On His Fake Political AD

Aamir Khan’s official spokesperson clarified, “We want to clarify that Mr Aamir Khan has never endorsed any political party throughout his 35-year career. He has dedicated his efforts to raising public awareness through Election Commission public awareness campaigns for many past elections.”

The spokesperson expressed concern over a viral video alleging Khan’s support for a political party, stating, “He would like to clarify that this is a fake video and totally untrue.” Khan has taken action, including filing an FIR with the Cyber Crime Cell of the Mumbai Police.

Khan urges all Indians to participate in the electoral process by voting.

The clip was widely shared by users on the X platform with a Hindi caption, emphasising the notion that every Indian should be wealthy and questioning the whereabouts of the promised sum of Rs 15 lakhs.
