Aditya Roy Kapur and Mrunal Thakur to star in the Hindi remake of Tamil action-thriller Thadam, read more details!

The film is being produced by Bhushan Kumar’s T-Series and Murad Khetani’s Cine1 Studios.

Bollywood star, Aditya Roy Kapur has bagged another project. The actor will be seen in Bhushan Kumar and Murad Khetani’s Hindi Remake of Tamil film Thadam. The film also stars Mrunal Thakur as the female lead.

Based on true events, this yet to be titled thriller will see Aditya Roy Kapur in a double role for the very first time in two completely different avatars. Helmed by debutant director Vardhan Ketkar the film is tentatively planned to go on floors in September this year.

Taking to their social media, T-Series posted, “We’re excited to announce our next, a thriller starring #AdityaRoyKapur in a double role for the first time.

Magizh Thirumeni wrote and directed the original Tamil film. Arun Vijay appeared in a dual role in the film, which was released in 2019. The plot centred around a murder that resulted in a cat and mouse chase between the identical-looking actors and the police officers in charge.
