The much-loved Dhamaal franchise is all set to make a comeback with its fourth instalment. Dhamaal 4 is set to go on floors in March and pre-production is already in full swing. The film will be shot in Mumbai and nearby locations.
Dhamaal 4 To Go On Floors Next Month
Filmmaker Indra Kumar’s Dhamaal series has been entertaining audiences since 2007. The first film Dhamaal was an instant hit and featured Sanjay Dutt, Arshad Warsi, Riteish Deshmukh, Jaaved Jaaferi, Ashish Chaudhary, and Vijay Raaz. It delivered a perfect blend of adventure and comedy. Four years later, Double Dhamaal took the madness up a notch.
In 2019, the franchise reached new heights with Total Dhamaal. The film had a massive upgrade with big names like Ajay Devgn, Anil Kapoor, and Madhuri Dixit Nene joining returning stars Arshad Warsi, Riteish Deshmukh, and Jaaved Jaaferi. The jungle adventure comedy was a massive box-office success.
While an official cast announcement is yet to be made, reports suggest that the same powerhouse cast will return. An industry insider revealed to Bollywood Hungama, “Dhamaal 4 will be going on floors in March. It will be shot in Mumbai and nearby locations. Some extensive pre-production work has been ongoing for a while. The film was initially set to roll at the end of 2024, but that got delayed.”
Ajay Devgn And Jaaved Jaaferi Confirmed The Film Last Year
Ajay Devgn had already confirmed his involvement last November. When asked in an interview if he would return for Dhamaal 4, he simply said, “Yes.” That one-word confirmation was enough to send fans into a frenzy.
Jaaved Jaaferi (who played the clueless yet lovable Manav) also hinted at the upcoming sequel last year. Speaking to ANI, he said, “The first one was the best, for me. Now they’re coming up with a fourth one. We’re going to start shooting sometime early next year.”
Alongside Dhamaal 4, Indra Kumar is also reviving another hit comedy franchise Masti. The adult comedy series, which began in 2004, has a fourth film in the works as well.
