Sooryavanshi, one of the most eagerly anticipated Bollywood films, has revealed its release date, promising a dhamakedaar Diwali when the film hits theatres on November 5, 2021. Soon after, director Rohit Shetty and Katrina Kaif, the film’s leading woman, were seen out and about promoting the film. Everyone was perplexed as to why the leading man, Akshay Kumar, was not included in the promotions. Recognizing the interest in this, Akshay took to Twitter to declare that he will begin full-fledged promotions soon.

On September 10th of this year, Akshay’s mother, Aruna Bhatia, passed away. Tomorrow, October 20th, will be the 40th day since her death. In most religions, the 40th day after a loved one’s death is observed as a memorial service day, during which the family gathers and performs rites and rituals in honour of the deceased. Tomorrow, Akshay and his family will gather in memory of his mother, after which the actor will return to work with a bang.
The actor is a big time professional, and while he began working on some inevitable, time-bound assignments, he deferred promotions, where he will actively meet and interact with the media, until later.
