One of the most memorable songs of megastar Amitabh Bachchan is ‘Saara Zamana’ from the 1981 film ‘Yaarana‘. The song, which was composed by Rajesh Roshan and sung by Kishore Kumar, had Big B in a dazzling outfit with hundreds of light bulbs attached to it. The song became a huge hit and is still popular among fans. Now, after four decades, the song is being recreated in Tiger Shroff-starrer ‘Ganapath‘, a futuristic action thriller directed by Vikas Bahl which also stars Mr. Bachchan himself.

According to a report by Bollywood Hungama, the remake of ‘Saara Zamana’ will have a modern twist and will be shot on a grand scale for Ganapath. The report also stated that Tiger Shroff will be seen doing some crazy dance moves in the song. The makers of ‘Ganapath’ have reportedly acquired the rights of the original song and will also retain some of the iconic lines from the original song.
“The song ‘Saara Zamana Haseeno Ka Deewana’, from the film Yaarana (1981), has been recreated in Ganapath. The makers have used it at an important juncture in the film. It will be unveiled before the movie is released in cinemas. They are confident that it’ll be liked and help in enhancing the buzz for the action entertainer.” a source informed the publication.
The source also added, “Around a month is left for Ganapath to arrive in cinemas. With the poster launch today, the promotional campaign has begun. The makers will drop the film’s trailer and songs, including the recreated version of ‘Saara Zamana’, in the next couple of weeks.”

The original song ‘Saara Zamana’ was shot at the NS Bose Stadium in Kolkata, which was the first time ever a film shoot took place there. Amitabh Bachchan recalled shooting the hit song on Instagram and shared an interesting anecdote. He wrote, “40 years of this magnificent film YAARANA .. this song done in the NS Bose Stadium in Kolkata .. first time ever a film shoot ..total madness .. and the well wishers of Bengal .. no where can we compare their love and enthusiasm to .. astounding.”

The remake of ‘Saara Zamana’ is expected to be a treat for both Amitabh Bachchan and Tiger Shroff fans, as they will get to see two generations of stars in one song. The remake will also pay tribute to the legendary Kishore Kumar, who sang the original song with his unique voice and style. The remake will be released as part of ‘Ganapath‘, which is slated to hit the screens on Dussehra in 2023. The movie also stars Kriti Sanon as the female lead.
Ganapath new poster out: Tiger Shroff in a fierce action look
The makers of Ganapath: A Hero Is Born, the upcoming action thriller starring Amitabh Bachchan, Tiger Shroff and Kriti Sanon, have unveiled a new poster of the film on the auspicious occasion of Ganesh Chaturthi today. The poster features the Tiger Shroff in a fierce and action look, with a backdrop of crowd cheering for him. The title of the film reads “Ganapath: A Hero Is Born”.
The makers also announced the release date of the film again with the new poster as 20th October, Dussehra.
