There have been multiple rumours around Varun Dhawan over the last many months for his upcoming collaboration with various directors. Previously, rumours suggested that Anees Bazmee will direct Varun Dhawan, which Bazmee himself refuted.
Another latest rumour is that Atlee could direct Bhediya actor after completing Shah Rukh starrer Jawan. According to reports, there has been a verbal discussion only and that will be the remake of Vijay starrer Theri.

“Atlee and Varun have been in talks for a while about a new project. After much discussion, Varun has finally given the go-ahead for the venture. However, while he has verbally agreed to feature in Atlee’s next, the young actor is yet to sign the dotted line. The film in question will be a remake of the Thalapathy Vijay starrer Theri. The said venture will be bankrolled by both Murad Khetani and Atlee, with the latter looking to commence work on the project either in June or September this year,” Bollywood Hungama quoted its source as saying.
Every month there is a rumour around Varun. Earlier it was said that he would act in Stree 2. However, he came out saying this as false and dismissed it completely. It seems rumours will continue and this time he will have to break silence on it yet again.
