Baba Siddique‘s recent death has deeply affected the nation, leaving his friends and family grieving. Siddique, a former Maharashtra minister and Nationalist Congress Party leader was shot by unknown attackers in Bandra on Saturday.

Salman Khan Receives Y+ Security After Baba Siddique Shot Dead
Salman Khan resides in Galaxy Apartments, and security has been ramped up around his home following Siddique’s murder. According to reports from the Times of India, police constables have been stationed outside his residence to ensure safety. They’ve been instructed to prevent onlookers from stopping to take selfies or record videos near the area.
Media professionals are also being kept at a distance, with reports indicating that they are not allowed to film near Khan’s apartment. In addition, a CCTV camera has been installed outside the building to monitor any suspicious activity on the road.
As a result of the heightened risks following Siddique’s assassination, Salman Khan has reportedly upgraded to Y+ security. This upgrade includes a police escort vehicle that follows him wherever he goes. Moreover, a constable trained in weaponry has been assigned to protect the superstar.
Salman Khan and Baba Siddique shared a close friendship. Following the tragic incident, Salman visited Lilavati Hospital to meet Siddique’s family. Siddique was brought to the hospital after suffering gunshot wounds to the stomach and chest on October 12. Unfortunately, he succumbed to his injuries the same night.
Lawrence Bishnoi Gang Reportedly Took The Responsibility Of Siddique’s Murder
As investigations continue, the Lawrence Bishnoi gang has claimed responsibility for the murder. They pointed to Siddique’s association with Salman Khan in a Facebook post. This gang has posed a threat to Khan for several years now, increasing concerns about the actor’s safety.
After the assassination, Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde revealed that police had captured two of the three attackers involved in the shooting. One suspect is said to be from Uttar Pradesh, while the other is from Haryana. The third attacker is still on the run.
In addition to Salman Khan, other celebrities, including Sanjay Dutt, Shilpa Shetty, and Raj Kundra, have also visited Lilavati Hospital to pay their respects and support Siddique’s family during this difficult time.
