Dharma Productions shared the news on social media, saying, “The one where every tune has a story to tell! ❤️ Jigra full album out now – ”. This album features a mix of original songs and recreated classics.

Check out the post below!

The music is composed by Achint Thakkar, with lyrics penned by Varun Grover. One standout track is “Phoolon Ka Taaro Ka,” a beloved song originally composed by R. D. Burman and sung by Kishore Kumar in the 1971 classic Haré Rama Haré Krishna. For Jigra, the song has been revamped, featuring Burman’s original lyrics alongside new lines by Grover, and is performed by Vedang Raina.

The album consists of several singles released in the lead-up to the full album launch. The first single, “Chal Kudiye,” was released on September 17, 2024. This was followed by “Tenu Sang Rakhna” on October 3 and the “Jigra Title Track” on October 7.

In addition to these three tracks, the album comes with four more tracks: “Jiya,” an acoustic version of “Jigra,” and “Pan India Area King.” This brings the total number of songs to seven, all of which are now available for streaming.

About The Film

Directed by Vasan Bala, Jigra is an action thriller that showcases Alia Bhatt as Satya, a fierce sister determined to rescue her brother from a foreign prison. Vedang Raina plays Ankur, her brother, while the supporting cast includes Sobhita Dhulipala, Manoj Pahwa, and Akansha Ranjan Kapoor. The film explores Satya’s intense and emotional journey to reunite with her brother, testing their bond and inner strength.

Despite its star-studded cast and high expectations, Jigra has had a challenging start at the box office. The film earned Rs 18.10 crore over its first four days, which is decent but not stellar.

However, it saw a significant drop on the first Monday, raking in only Rs 1.50 crore. This underperformance has been linked to mixed reviews and lower-than-expected audience turnout.
