The recent death of Baba Siddique has reopened old wounds between Salman Khan and the Bishnoi community. Siddique, a close friend of Khan and a well-known politician, was tragically shot outside his son’s office in Bandra East, Mumbai.
Following this shocking event, BJP MP Harnath Singh Yadav has called on Khan to apologise for a past incident that continues to upset the Bishnoi community.
BJP MP Advises Salman Khan To Apologise To Bishnoi Community
Yadav’s plea comes in light of Siddique’s murder, which was claimed by the Lawrence Bishnoi gang. This gang has a long-standing feud with Khan, dating back to the infamous blackbuck hunting case from two decades ago.
In a post on X (formerly Twitter) written in Hindi, Yadav expressed his thoughts, saying, “Dear Salman Khan, the Bishnoi community worships the blackbuck and considers it a deity. You hunted it, cooked it, and ate it. Because of this, the sentiments of the Bishnoi community were hurt and there is anger against you.”
The BJP leader stressed that Khan should acknowledge the hurt he caused. He added, “People make mistakes. You are a big actor, and a large number of people in the country love you. My good advice to you is that you should respect the sentiments of the Bishnoi community and apologise to them for your big mistake.”

Baba Siddique’s Murder Once Again Draws Attention Towards Blackbuck Case
Siddique’s murder has once again thrust Khan into the media spotlight. The politician had been a strong supporter of Khan’s safety due to threats from the Bishnoi gang.
This group has had a vendetta against Khan for many years, with roots tracing back to the blackbuck case in the early 2000s. Siddique’s close connection to Khan makes his death particularly concerning for the safety of other figures in Bollywood.
The circumstances surrounding Siddique’s assassination are disturbing. He was shot in a bold attack outside his son Zeeshan Siddique’s office. After the murder, a Facebook account named Shubbu Lonkar Maharashtra claimed responsibility, accusing Khan of starting a “war.”
In a related incident, one suspect in the murder had previously been questioned in connection with gunfire near Salman Khan’s house in April. However, he was released due to lack of evidence.
Coming back to the matter, whether Salman Khan will respond to the call for an apology is still uncertain.
