The Dhoom franchise began in 2004 with an action-packed thriller directed by Sanjay Gadhvi. The film starred Abhishek Bachchan, John Abraham, Uday Chopra, Esha Deol, and Rimi Sen. It focused on a gang of robbers who executed daring heists on motorbikes in Mumbai, while Jai Dixit and motorbike dealer Ali Akbar Fateh Khan worked to thwart their plans.
