Director Anees Bazmee is gearing up for the release of Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3. With Kartik Aaryan at the lead, the horror-comedy promises to be a thrilling ride, especially with Vidya Balan and Madhuri Dixit Nene sharing the screen.
Scheduled to hit theatres on November 1, 2024, Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 will clash with Ajay Devgn’s highly anticipated film, Singham Again.
In a recent chat with Mid-Day, Bazmee shared his thoughts on this competitive release date.
Anes Bamzee Says He Will Be The One To Watch Singham Again First
He stated, “I don’t believe in words like ‘clash’. A lot of people associated with Singham Again are my friends. I am sure they’ve made an expensive film with terrific action. I will be the first to watch Singham Again, and I hope the audience watches both films.”
On Why Tabu Didn’t Return To 3rd Instalment Of Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3
The director also addressed the absence of actress Tabu in this new instalment. He acknowledged her significant role in the success of Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2.
“Tabuji is a fantastic actor and a dear friend of mine. Her performance had a huge role to play in Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2’s success. But the point where I left her character—where the ghost and the villain were left together in a room—taking that forward would not be appropriate,” Bazmee explained.
Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 is penned by Aakash Kaushik and directed by Bazmee himself. The film has a stellar cast, including Rajpal Yadav, Triptii Dimri, Vijay Raaz, Sanjay Mishra, and Ashwini Kalsekar. With a production budget of Rs 150 crore, expectations are high for this Diwali release.
The film’s production took place from March to September 2024, with filming locations spread across Mumbai, Kolkata, Orchha, and Leh. Produced by Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar, and Murad Khetani, the film aims to deliver a captivating blend of horror and comedy.
