Rohit Shetty is gearing up to bring back his iconic cop universe with Singham Again, and this time, the look of each hero is getting a fresh update.
With the film set to release during Diwali, fans can expect a stylish and revamped appearance for Ajay Devgn, Akshay Kumar, Ranveer Singh, and even new additions like Deepika Padukone and Tiger Shroff.
How The Looks Of Singham Again Cast Is Getting A Fresh Update
Costume designer Navin Shetty, who has been part of the Singham franchise since its beginning, was tasked with creating unique looks for each of the characters. He had to make sure that the signature style of Ajay Devgn’s Bajirao Singham stayed intact but with a twist.
“Rohit sir’s [Shetty, filmmaker] brief was that he wanted Ajay’s civilian look to be different from the previous Singham editions. At the same time, he didn’t want me to lose the strong, tough persona of Bajirao Singham. We have given him solid colours with denims,” shared Navin with mid-day.
Next up was Akshay Kumar’s look as Sooryavanshi. Navin was excited to work with Kumar, as his fit physique allowed the designer to experiment with different cuts and styles.
“When you have a fit actor like Akshay sir, you get an upper hand to play around with styles and cuts,” he explained.
Ranveer Singh’s flamboyant fashion sense was toned down for his role as Simmba, a decision that Shetty made back in 2018 and is continuing in Singham Again.
“Ranveer used to be flamboyantly dressed [in his personal appearances]. Rohit sir wanted to break that image with Simmba [2018].,” Navin said.
The goal was to bring a more grounded, tough look to Singh’s character, aligning with the serious cop universe vibe.
The new faces in the cop universe—Deepika Padukone and Tiger Shroff—are also getting their own standout styles. Tiger, known for his fitness, has been given a muscular, rugged look to match his strong on-screen persona.
“Rohit sir wanted Tiger to look tough, something the youth can relate to when they see him,” Navin added.
As for the antagonist, Arjun Kapoor, his character’s look has been designed to scream danger. Playing the role of Raavan, the evil force in the story, Kapoor’s character is dressed in black, symbolising his dark, wild, and deadly nature.
Navin and his team experimented with Kapoor’s hair, make-up, and wardrobe to give him an intense, villainous appearance.

Ajay Devgn reprises his role as the iconic Bajirao Singham, taking on Arjun Kapoor, who plays a modern interpretation of Ram in this battle of “Good versus Evil.”
Kareena Kapoor joins the cast as Bajirao’s wife, and fan favourites Ranveer Singh and Akshay Kumar return as Simmba and Sooryavanshi. Adding to the excitement, Deepika Padukone is introduced as “Lady Singham,” and Tiger Shroff makes his debut in the Cop Universe as ACP Satya Pattnaik.
The film, directed by Rohit Shetty, is set for a Diwali release on November 1. It will face a box-office clash with Kartik Aaryan’s Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3.
