Salman Khan’s ex-girlfriend Somy Ali is making headlines with her unusual request. The actor-turned-women’s rights activist has invited gangster Lawrence Bishnoi for a Zoom call. Currently locked in Sabarmati Central Jail, Lawrence received a message from Somy through her social media channels.
Somy Ali Requests A Zoom Call With Lawrence Bishnoi
On Thursday, Somy shared a picture of Lawrence on her Instagram account. In her post, she wrote a heartfelt message. She began with a respectful greeting: “Namaste, Lawrence bhai.”
Somy acknowledged hearing that Lawrence has managed to do Zoom calls even from behind bars. She expressed her desire to discuss important matters with him.
In her caption, she stated, “Kripya karke mujhe bataye ke yeh kaise ho sakta hai?” Somy highlighted her admiration for Rajasthan, saying it is her favourite place. She expressed a wish to visit his temple for a prayer but insisted on having the Zoom call first.
She reassured him that the conversation would be beneficial for him and said, “Trust me, this chat is for your own good.”
To conclude her message, she requested his mobile number, saying, “Apna mobile number de dejiye, bada ehsaan hoga aap ka. Shukriya.”

Somy Earlier Requested To Forgive Salman Khan
Somy Ali has a complicated history with Salman Khan. They dated until 1999 before parting ways, and since then, she has moved to the US.
Despite her troubled past with the actor, she has defended him on several occasions.
In a recent interview with Hindustan Times, Somy discussed the ongoing issues surrounding Salman and the Bishnoi community.
She stated, “If you’re attempting to kill someone or firing bullets at him, then you’re crossing the line.” While she does not condone hunting as a sport, she urged the Bishnoi community to forgive Salman for past mistakes.
She appealed to them, saying, “Taking someone’s life is not acceptable, be it Salman or an average common man. If you want justice, you should move to the court.”
Somy expressed her confidence in the Indian judicial system, similar to her faith in the legal system in America. She urged the Bishnoi community to focus on healing rather than seeking vengeance, saying, “Whatever happened to me cannot be changed; let bygones be bygones.”
Meanwhile, Salman Khan is preparing to resume shooting for Sikandar. The next schedule is expected to take place with heightened security, especially in light of the recent murder incident involving Baba Siddique.
