The wedding season just got crazier!
Bhool Chuk Maaf, a romantic comedy full of shaadi madness, complex romances, and sheer chaos, will be released in theatres on May 9. In addition to a whole new flavour of humour, youthful zeal, and entertaining plot twists sprinkled with Bollywood bhasad!!
The creators of the film have launched the promo materials with the post on social media:
“Baar baar wahi din, wahi haldi, wahi bhasad! Kab aur kaise hogi Ranjan aur Titli ki shaadi? Pata chalega 9th May ko!”
If the teaser is any indicator of what audiences can expect, lots of laughs will ensue with lots of chaotic misunderstandings, emotional disclosures and heart-wrenching moments.
While the cast is still a secret for promotional suspense, insiders have shared that the film is primarily showcasing the new generation of talent, using the writer’s strong vision of portraying the excitement of disordered modern relationships as captivatingly as possible.
This youth comedy depicts the highs and lows of love and forgiveness — combining desi families, crazy weddings, and all the themes of redemption under one roof. With its balance of romance, comedy, and drama, Bhool Chuk Maaf should be a solid mid-summer draught into theatres.
This year has already seen a slew of romcoms, and Bhool Chuk Maaf is being tagged as the ‘wedding movie of the season’ — everything masala Bollywood fans love, but with a new perspective on love gone wrong.
Produced by Dinesh Vijan under the banner Maddock Films, Bhool Chuk Maaf is directed by Karan Sharma, featuring Rajkummar Rao as Ranjan and Wamiqa Gabbi as Titli.
Theatrical release confirmation is set for Friday, May 9, and going by the teaser and buzz, audiences better get ready for a whirlwind of pyaar, drama aur full-on tamasha.
