Salman Khan’s shoot for the Bigg Boss 20 premiere came with an unscripted moment that is now doing the rounds online. While posing for photographers on the set ahead of the new season’s launch, the superstar appeared visibly annoyed as paparazzi moved too close to the stage and kept pressing for more pictures.
Salman Khan Loses Patience On Set
In the video from the premiere shoot, Salman is seen posing for the cameras before firmly asking the photographers to keep their distance. He told them, “Yeh mera kaam nahi hai. Mujhe camera ke aage aane ki koi zarurat nahi hai.” The actor’s tone turned sharper when repeated requests for more pictures continued, and he responded, “Photos…photos..photos.”
The moment quickly grabbed attention because Salman had otherwise arrived in a striking look for the shoot. He wore a dark brown cowboy hat with a navy T-shirt, an olive-green vest, denims and a silver-accented belt, giving the launch a stylised, Western-inspired edge before the mood briefly shifted.
Bigg Boss 20 Set For September 6 Launch
The timing of the episode has added to the buzz. Bigg Boss 20 is scheduled to premiere on September 6, 2026, with Salman returning once again as the face of the reality franchise. The new season has been linked to the theme “Vardaan” and a two-house format, a twist expected to shape how contestants survive the competition after moving between spaces inside the show.
The early contestant chatter has already picked up pace, with names such as Mahhi Vij, Faissal Khan, Isha Rikhi, Khushi Dubey, Aman Gandhi, Geeta Basra, Amrapali Dubey and Aasif Khan being discussed around the new season. That backdrop has made every update from the set instantly watchable, especially when Salman himself becomes the centre of the clip.
This Is Not The First Paparazzi Flashpoint
The latest exchange also comes after another tense paparazzi moment earlier this year. In May 2026, Salman was seen getting upset outside a hospital as photographers followed him and kept calling out to him near the medical facility. The incident triggered strong reactions online and reopened the conversation around boundaries during celebrity coverage.
That episode later softened when Salman addressed the issue on Instagram and subsequently accepted an apology from the paparazzi at the Raja Shivaji success party. Seen in that context, the Bigg Boss 20 moment feels less like an isolated flare-up and more like a familiar frustration over personal space.
Salman Khan’s Recent And Upcoming Work
On the film front, Salman was last seen in Sikandar, the 2025 action drama directed by A.R. Murugadoss and produced by Sajid Nadiadwala. The theatrical release paired him with Kajal Aggarwal, Rashmika Mandanna, Sathyaraj and Sharman Joshi. Before that, he made cameo appearances in Singham Again in 2024 and Baby John in 2024, keeping his screen presence alive between full-fledged lead roles.
As of September 2026, one of the major confirmed titles on his slate is Raja Shivaji, in which he has a special appearance. With television, cameos and star-driven event appearances continuing alongside film work, Salman remains firmly in the spotlight even when an off-camera moment steals the scene.
He already shot for Maatrubhumi which is stuck due to issues pertaining to the subject of the film. He is currently shooting for action drama Monster opposite Nayanthara directed by Vamshi.
