“There Are Date Issues, But We’re Trying Our Best”: Boney Kapoor Breaks Silence On Diljit Dosanjh’s Exit From No Entry 2

Rumours were circulating that Diljit Dosanjh has exited No Entry 2 due to creative differences; however, producer Boney Kapoor has stepped up to set the record straight. While the situation is still salvageable, a January 2025 start date may pose challenges. The sequel to the 2005 cult hit No Entry, tentatively titled No Entry Mein Entry, is currently facing logistical hurdles, not creative disputes.

Boney Kapoor Moves into Damage Control: “No Creative Differences with Diljit Dosanjh”

Following reports that Diljit Dosanjh had opted out of No Entry 2 due to creative differences, Boney Kapoor addressed the media directly:

“Yes, there are date issues, but certainly no creative differences. That is absolutely false. We are trying our best to work out dates,” he shared.

The buzz started when insiders noted that Diljit’s global concert commitments from August to December 2025 clash with the planned shooting schedule for No Entry 2. However, Kapoor emphasised that scheduling is the only obstacle, and discussions with Diljit are still underway.

Inside No Entry Mein Entry: Cast, Schedule & What We Know

Directed by Anees Bazmee, No Entry Mein Entry is scheduled to begin filming in early 2026 with a start-to-finish schedule. The cast includes:

  • Varun Dhawan
  • Arjun Kapoor
  • Diljit Dosanjh (subject to schedule confirmation)

The film will also feature six female leads, reviving the madcap ensemble comedy that defined the original film.

Recently, the team conducted a recce in Greece and finalised several exotic locations for the upcoming laugh riot.

Diljit is a Busy Bee: Border 2, World Tour & More

With Diljit Dosanjh‘s global appeal peaking and live concert demand surging, he is preparing for a world tour in the latter half of 2025 — overlapping directly with No Entry Mein Entry’s shooting window.

Simultaneously, Diljit is set to begin filming Anurag Singh’s Border 2 in June 2025, which is targeting a Republic Day 2026 release.

Sources suggest that a final casting decision for No Entry Mein Entry will be announced in June.
