No Entry 2: Diljit Dosanjh Walks Out Of Varun Dhawan & Arjun Kapoor’s Film? Creative Rift Sparks Buzz

Cast Shuffle Shakes Up Comic Caper

Anees Bazmee’s first to kick off his imminent comic caper No Entry 2, a follow-up to the 2005 cult classic No Entry, is making headlines again this week as it has gone through a massive cast change. Previously, it was reported that it would star Varun Dhawan, Arjun Kapoor, and Diljit Dosanjh; it looks like we have some rewritten history, as it is being reported fresh that Dosanjh has exited the project over creative differences throughout development.

Creative Differences Confirmed

As per a recent report, Dosanjh was excited to team up with Varun and Arjun; however, he pulled out when he couldn’t get aligned with the creative direction.

A source close to the movie said,

“Diljit was very excited to collaborate with Varun Dhawan and Arjun Kapoor. But over the last few weeks, he couldn’t align with the film’s creative ideas. That’s why he’s decided to leave the project.”

An official statement has yet to be released, but fans are already blasting messages on social media about their disappointment in Dosanjh pulling out and who may join the high-energy cast.

Recce Starts in Greece

As far as production is concerned, the film’s schedule is still firm. Director Anees Bazmee and producer Boney Kapoor are already scouting locations for the film in Greece, after Bazmee hinted to fans earlier this year via social media:

“Plotting new adventures in Greece with the producer Boney Kapoor ji and DOP Manu Anand ji! Prepping for the madness that’s #NoEntry2.”

Tentatively entitled No Entry Mein Entry, the film is currently in active pre-production and is slated to roll in June or July 2025. The makers are eyeing a Diwali 2025 release window, with hopes to bring the magic of the original to audiences in a new age.

Will the Cast Shake-Up Delay the Madness?

Regaining Diljit would have been the cherry on top, but there is still lots of excitement around Varun Dhawan and Arjun Kapoor’s relationship in a nostalgic Bazmee comedy. Now, everyone is waiting to learn who the eventual third lead in this comedy of errors is.

BoxOfficeWorldwide Verdict

From the casting highs to creative roadblocks, No Entry 2 promises as much off-screen drama as on-screen chaos, as we all await the announcement of who will fill the role alongside Varun and Arjun. With Varun and Arjun confirmed and filming in Greece, this Diwali 2025 offers a laugh riot — with or without Diljit.
