Karan Johar‘s Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani is one of the most anticipated Bollywood films of 2023. It is special because it marks Karan’s return as a director after 2016’s Ae Dil Hai Mushkil. The film is also released on the 25th anniversary of Karan as a director in the industry. As the release date nears, fans are really excited to watch this love story unfold on the big screen.
We had earlier reported that Varun Dhawan, Janhvi Kapoor, Ananya Pandey and Sara Ali Khan might have a cameo in the film. Now it’s confirmed that all these stars will feature in a song in the film. Big stars making brief appearances are not a new thing for Karan Johar films. Earlier, Shah Rukh Khan appeared in Ae Dil Hai Mushkil, Kajol in Student of the Year, and Rani Mukerji in Kabhi Khushi Kabhi Ghum and their presence had an impact.

Ahead of the release of the film, Alia’s mother-in-law Neetu Kapoor loved the film and wrote, “A complete entertainer with amazing performances by all actors. Alia shines, looks gorgeous.” Gauri Khan also loved the film and gave it a full five stars. Vicky Kaushal also enjoyed Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani and took to his Instagram story to express his thoughts.

About Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani
Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani is produced and directed by Karan Johar and written by Ishita Moitra, Shashank Khaitan, and Sumit Roy. It stars Ranveer Singh, Alia Bhatt, Dharmendra, Jaya Bachchan, and Shabana Azmi among others. The film follows the story of a Punjabi guy and a Bengali girl who decide to live with each other’s family for three months before marriage. The film will release theatrically on 28 July.
