Ali Fazal, who was one of the lead actors in the first two instalments of the comedy franchise Fukrey, will be seen in a cameo appearance in the upcoming Fukrey 3. The actor, who is currently busy with his Hollywood projects and promoting Vishal Bhardwaj’s Khufiya, has reportedly shot for a special scene in the film, which will also set up the premise for the next part of the series.

Confirming the same, a well-placed industry source revealed exclusively to Bollywood Hungama, “Yes, Ali has a small part in Fukrey 3, although the makers have not revealed his presence and have neither featured him in the promotional material. He will be seen continuing his role as Zafar from the previous two films, and will come in at the end of the film.” If that was not enough, the source further revealed that besides Ali, Fukrey 3 also drops a hint about the fourth part. “Fukrey 3 also hints about its next instalment. This is where Ali comes in, hinting that part four of the franchise will begin with his character Zafar”, reveals the source. This certainly is good news for the Fukrey franchise fans.

When earlier he was asked why he is not a part of the movie, Ali Fazal told another publication, “Bhai simple answer hai, dates nahi thi.” Adding to it, Pulkit Samrat had stated that when they were shooting for the movie in Delhi, Ali was doing Kandahar, a Hollywood action flick directed by Ric Roman Waugh. The Hollywood film also stars Gerard Butler, Navid Negahban, Bahador Foladi, Nina Toussaint-White and many others.
