Directed by AR Murugadoss, Sikandar is one of the most awaited Bollywood films of 2025. The film has been creating buzz since its announcement. The promotional material only mentioned ‘Eid 2025’ to keep fans and trade experts guessing about the exact date.
Sunday Release Confirmed For Salman Khan Starrer Sikandar
A source from the production team revealed to Bollywood Hungama that Sikandar will hit cinemas on Sunday, March 30. The makers believe this is the best day for release. Sunday is a big holiday, especially in Maharashtra, due to Gudi Padwa. Ramzan Eid follows on Monday, March 31.
Many centres will see a post-Eid holiday effect on 1 and 2 April. Collections are expected to rise again from Friday, 4 April, keeping the film strong at the box office until Sunday, 6 April.
This isn’t the first time Salman Khan’s film has been released on a Sunday. Tiger 3 (2023) also arrived on a Sunday during Diwali and saw strong box office numbers throughout the festive season.
Trailer To Arrive Next Weekend
Reports suggest that Sikandar’s trailer will be unveiled next weekend. The official release date announcement is expected on Wednesday, 19 March, along with the opening of advance bookings. A grand promotional event is also planned to boost excitement before the release.
The film stars Rashmika Mandanna, Kajal Aggarwal, and Sharman Joshi in key roles. With a stellar cast and Murugadoss’ action-packed direction, Sikandar is expected to be a major crowd-puller.
