Sohum Shah’s action-drama Crazxy has just surprised its fans by moving its release date up by a week. The film will now release on February 28 instead of March 7. To announce the change, Sohum shared a fun video with characters from Tumbbad — Vinayak, Daadi, and Hastar. The trio reunites to reveal the new date in a quirky way.
Crazxy Release Preponed
In the fun-filled announcement video, Daadi and Hastar ask Vinayak to tell a ‘crazxy’ story, moving away from their usual Tumbbad tales. As Vinayak starts, they eagerly wait for the story, but the video cuts off just before the punchline, leaving fans hanging.
Sohum posted it with the caption: “Humaari pyaari Daadi aur Hastar have come together specially to announce CRAZXY’s release date in a crazxy way… kyunki, ab toh sab crazxy hone waala hai. #CRAZXY – IN CINEMAS 28th FEBRUARY, 2025.”

Sohum Shah Recently Shared BTS Pics From The Shoot
Sohum recently shared behind-the-scenes moments from the set. One image shows him with injury marks on his face, giving off a bold look.
Another shot shows Sohum suspended mid-air, possibly part of a VFX sequence. He also shared an image of a monitor screen and a card with a cross cut-out, teasing action-packed scenes.
The film is produced by Sohum Shah, along with Mukesh Shah, Amita Shah, and Adesh Prasad. Girish Kohli (the filmmaker behind Mom and HIT: The First Case) is directing the film. The music is composed by Vishal Bhardwaj, with lyrics by Gulzar, adding to the excitement.
Sohum is well-known for his roles in Tumbbad, Talvaar, and web series like Maharani, Bard of Blood, and Dahaad. Fans are also eagerly waiting for his role in Tumbbad 2. With a fresh release date and plenty of behind-the-scenes buzz, Crazxy is set to be one of the most anticipated films of 2025.
