Ranbir Kapoor has recently won the ‘Best Actor Award’ for his role in the science fiction film ‘Brahmastra’ directed by Ayan Mukerji. Together with Ranbir, his wife Alia Bhatt was also honored with the award for her outstanding performance in ‘Gangubai Kathiawadi’. Actor Ranbir Kapoor talked about his victory during a recent media appearance in Chandigarh for ‘Tu Jhooti Main Makkaar’ promotions.
The actor responded to his victory during the promotional blitz and expressed his gratitude. Ranbir, who knows really well that his performance in Brahmastra as Shiva was not really blockbuster. He said, “I am very grateful for the honour. I don’t think I fully deserve it for Brahmastra. Voh bahut badi kuch acting performance nahi thi (It wasn’t some great acting performance).”
For those who don’t know, the actor portrayed Shiva in the movie, which was planned as a trilogy. Ayan later revealed that the sequel to the movie could be out in December 2025.
Meanwhile, Ranbir is currently busy in ‘Tu Jhoothi Main Makkar’ promotions with Shraddha Kapoor. Ranbir will next be seen in ‘Animal’.
