Fondly called “Dada”, Sourav Ganguly, former captain and the 35th President of the Board of Control for Cricket in India, will have his own biopic starring Ranbir Kapor. The scripting in final process and the former cricketer has given a yes to the draft.
As per Etimes, numerous actors’ names were recommended, including Hrithik Roshan, Sidharth Malhotra but Ranbir’s name has been confirmed. He is expected to travel to Kolkata, where he would meet the cricket legend Sourav at his home, the CAB office, Eden Garden prior to beginning of the shoot. However, the official acknowledgement to this is yet to made.

It will be interesting to see who will direct the much-anticipated film. Sourav’s fans can’t keep calm to see his biopic. It is reportedly a massive budget film amounting to 200-250 cr. Sourav had earlier stated that he is not in a quick mode as he wants everything to be correct.
