About Dhadak
Reflecting on the original Dhadak, which was directed by Shashank Khaitan, the film was a Hindi remake of the Marathi hit Sairat. It told the poignant tale of a wealthy girl and a poor boy whose love struggles against the backdrop of caste-based discrimination.
Despite mixed reviews, Dhadak was praised for its performances, particularly those of Kapoor and Khatter, and its music, which struck a chord with audiences.
