Don 3, starring Ranveer Singh and Kiara Advani, has a new update as fresh reports on the film’s progress emerge. Originally slated to begin shooting in January 2025, the schedule has been pushed back to May- June 2025.
This change comes as director Farhan Akhtar wants to wrap up his current acting project, 120 Bahadur, before starting to work on the much-anticipated sequel.
Ranveer Singh To Begin Preparing For Don 3 In March 2025
While the production start date may have shifted, there’s good news for fans of Ranveer Singh. Pre-production work for Don 3 is already in full swing, and preparations for Singh’s role will kick off in March 2025.
A source close to the production revealed to News18 Showsha, “The pre-production work on the film is currently underway. And the prep on the same will begin next year in March as apart from Farhan, Ranveer is also busy with Aditya Dhar’s untitled next and recently embraced fatherhood.”
Ranveer will take on the role of Don, a character previously portrayed by legends Amitabh Bachchan and Shah Rukh Kham. It has left him both pressured and excited. With the birth of his daughter on September 8, 2024, Singh has a lot on his plate. Balancing fatherhood with his professional commitments will undoubtedly be a challenge, but fans are eager to see how he embodies this iconic character.
Kiara Advani To Join After War 2
Kiara Advani, who stars alongside Singh, is also busy with her own projects. She is currently filming War 2, sharing the screen with Hrithik Roshan and Jr NTR. This highlights the busy schedules both actors are juggling as they prepare for their respective roles.
