Eid Gets Crowded: Aishwarya Rai Bachchan’s PS 2 To Fight Against Salman Khan Starrer ‘Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan’ At Box Office And Rajinikanth’s Jailor In Ring Too?

Rajinikanth‘s Jailer will be released on Tamil New Year in 2023 i.e. on April 14, 2023.

PS1 (Ponniyin Selvan Part 1), a film directed by Mani Ratnam, an Indian Tamil-language action film, released on September 30, 2022. It stars Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Jayam Ravi, Vikram, Sobhita Dhulipala and others. Kalki Krishnamoorthi has written epic historical fiction.

The drama-fantasy film was released in five Indian languages: Tamil, Hindi, Telugu, Kannada and Malayalam. It received mixed reactions and became the second-highest Tamil grosser at the worldwide box office of all time.

Helmed by Farhad Samji, Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan stars Salman Khan, Venkatesh Daggubati, Jagapathi Babu and Pooja Hegde. Its screenplay is done by Sajid Nadiadwala with him as a producer only. The process of filming is going in Hyderabad, whereas its principal photography started in May this year.

It was earlier reported to be named Kabhi Eid Kabhi Diwali and then Bhaijaan. The film’s official title was decided as Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan later in August, 2022. It was set to be released on December 30 but has been shifted to Eid on April 21, 2023.

The sequel to PS 1 could be reportedly released a week later of Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan’s release, making it a dent for Salman Khan starrer considering its Box-office performance and the success it received for the overall performance. As per reports, it could hit the big screen on April 28, 2023.

Moreover, Rajinikanth‘s Jailer will be released on Tamil New Year in 2023 i.e. on April 14, 2023. So, Ponniyin Selvan 2 will not clash with it considering the good relations between Mani Ratnam and Rajinikanth.
