Films based on real-life events have been drastically improved over the last few years. Recently we saw how Section 375 adapted some real-life events and moulded them into cinematic experienced led by Akshaye Khanna and Richa Chadha.
Now the news is that there’s another film in the pipeline which is based on the life of Govind Ragho Khairnar aka GR Khairnar. He’s a civil servant who led an anti-corruption campaign that was loved and adored by those who studied it.
He was the one behind exposing many scams and scandals happening in the country. In one of his interviews, he had said, “I am an ordinary man, an ordinary officer. Politicians are doing nothing for the nation, for society. What I’ve revealed is only the tip of the iceberg.”
The film will be directed by Manish Gupta who also wrote Section 375. Manish has also directed critically acclaimed Rahasya. It will be produced by Sandeep Ssingh and Anand Pandit.
