Well, we have a brand new information on the film, which is that Akshay Kumar’s ‘Cinderella’ was originally set to be helmed by the same south filmmaker, Ram Kumar, who directed Ratsasan, but after seeing Bell Bottom, they changed their minds and approached Ranjit Tiwari for this film as well.

The film is set in Shimla, and the crew had to choose a setting that resembles the hill station. Kumar will play a cop in the film, therefore the production design team will recreate Shimla police station in London, as well as a few other locations.

Ratsasan is a Tamil film, the story of the film revolves around a filmmaker who becomes a police officer following his father’s death and investigates the murder of schoolgirls. The original, directed by Ram Kumar and starring Amala Paul, was a surprise hit that astonished everyone in the industry.
