We’re just little more than a week away for Salman Khan’s Dabangg 3. Makers are eyeing on a huge box office numbers with this one. It will be releasing on 20th December and hence will enjoy the Christmas’ & New Year’s festive season.
But it seems there’s an issue waiting for the makers. According to our exclusive sources, producers of Dabangg 3 are finding it hard to acquire distributing buyers for the film. The reason behind the same is stated the dismal performance of Salman Khan’s Race 3 & Bharat at the box office.
It’s also because Salman Khan’s production company Salman Khan Films is asking for an all-India distribution rate in the ratio of 275 crores. If we calculate this, it will sum down to 130 crores. Karan Johar, Akshay Kumar’s Good Newwz is releasing a week after Dabangg 3 and that’s also a worry for the makers as well as distributors.
Salman Khan’s favourite distributor Aditya Choksi is handling the film now. His plan is to distribute Dabangg 3 on a commission basis to different buyers across the country. For example, the territory of Punjab will be handled by Kumar Mangat. For those who don’t remember, Mangat was the co-producer of the recent multi-starrer disaster Pagalpanti. Isn’t this a good way to recover losses?
