Shah Rukh Khan was absent from the big screen for nearly five years after the failure of films like Jab Harry Met Sejal and Zero. Earlier this year, he came back with a bang in an action avatar in Pathaan. The film went on to become an all time blockbuster success worldwide. Now, the superstar is gearing up for another action thriller film, Jawan which is just 5 weeks away from its release.
Ahead of the film’s release, we have got another EXCLUSIVE information about an interesting scene from the film. We broke the news about character names and songs of the film earlier. At one point in the film, Shah Rukh Khan’s character will be seen reuniting with his old commando team which consists of four more people. In the scene, we’ll see all four of them going and hugging him together as they all will be meeting after a long time.
SRK To Smoke A Cigar In The Scene
The scene in question involves the father character of SRK as he plays a double role in the film. During the scene, the father character named Vikram will be seen smoking his cigar, and his teammates, who are all retired by the time they meet him, will take his cigar and will smoke a puff of it. The scene takes place during the second half of Jawan. The names of the four commando members will be crucial. However, important series of events will take place after this smoking scene which we can’t reveal at this point.
Details Of Shah Rukh Khan’s Double Role In Jawan
There always been speculation around Atlee’s Jawan that superstar Shah Rukh Khan plays double role in Jawan. There have been rumours that he plays father as well as son in the film. Here are EXCLUSIVE name and character details of both the characters.
We have exclusively learnt that Shah Rukh Khan’s father character is named VIKRAM who will be a great jawan (commando) and will be leading a commando team which will include 4 key people. This look we have seen in the promo throughout.
Shah Rukh Khan will be also portraying role of a son in this film whose name will be AZAAD and here he will be portraying police officer role. We have seen glimpse of this look of SRK in Prevue.
‘Zinda Banda’ Song Was Shot with Over 1000 Dancers
In the much talked about prevue, we get a glimpse of a song from the film titled Zinda Banda. Over a thousand dancers have been used in the picturisation of the song who came from cities like Chennai, Hyderabad, Bangalore, Madurai, Mumbai, and Pune. It also included several folk dancers from different parts of India. The song has been composed by popular Tamil composer Anirudh. The dance moves have been choreographed by Shobi and reportedly it has been shot in three other South Indian languages. The song itself has cost the production around 15 crore rupees.

Jawan is directed by popular Tamil director Atlee Kumar in his Bollywood debut. The film is produced by Gauri Khan under Red Chillies Entertainment and co-produced by Gaurav Verma. It stars Shah Rukh Khan, Nayanthara, Vijay Sethupathi, Sanya Malhotra, and Deepika Padukone (in a special appearance). It will release theatrically on 7 September in Hindi and dubbed versions in Tamil and Telugu.
