According to Pinkvilla, Fahadh Faasil is set to make his Hindi film debut with this new venture. The two have been in discussions for months, and it seems their creative energies have aligned perfectly.
“Fahadh and Imtiaz have done several meetings over the last few months, and their energies have aligned in the right way. Both of them prefer to work in the right set-up and are set to team up for the first time. Fahadh is also excited to debut in the Hindi space with a director like Imtiaz,” a source shared.
Casting For Female Lead In Progress With Filming Planned For Early 2025
In true Imtiaz Ali style, the upcoming film will be a love story, featuring his trademark storytelling flair. “Imtiaz is making a pure love story and the casting for the female protagonist is underway. He is excited about the subject and feels this is the right time to tell the story. He has gone ahead to pitch the film to Fahadh because he feels that the actor fits the bill and the story calls for his casting,” the source added.
If everything goes as planned, filming for this new project will start in early 2025, with a release expected by the end of the year. Imtiaz Ali is finalising the script and will soon begin working on the music and pre-production. This will be his 10th feature film, adding a new milestone to his impressive career.
